Random Number Generator

Generate random integers within a range you choose, with an optional no-repeat mode so each number is drawn only once. Previous draws are listed below the result.

How It Works

Enter a minimum and maximum value to define the range. Each click of the Generate button produces one random integer within that range (inclusive).

Enable No Repeat to draw without replacement — once a number has been drawn, it will not appear again until you reset. When all numbers in the range have been drawn, the generator stops and prompts you to reset.

All randomness is generated in your browser using the built-in crypto.getRandomValues function for uniform, unpredictable results.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the randomness truly random?
The generator uses crypto.getRandomValues, which provides cryptographically strong random numbers. This is more uniform and unpredictable than Math.random.
What happens when all numbers are drawn in no-repeat mode?
The generator stops and shows a message indicating the range is exhausted. Click Reset to clear the history and start drawing again.
Can I generate decimals?
This tool generates whole integers only. For decimal random numbers, generate an integer in a larger range and divide by the appropriate factor.
